Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 18, 2026

In short: Trackora has no accounts and no servers of its own. Your locations, trips, and day counts are stored on your iPhone (and, if you enable it, in your personal iCloud). We cannot see them. The only third party involved is our subscription processor, which receives an anonymous identifier — never your location or travel history.

1. Who we are

Trackora ("the App") is developed and operated by Maksym Kovalko ("we", "us"). Contact: support@maxxxapps.com.

2. Data stored on your device

The App's purpose is counting the days you spend in each country. To do that it processes, entirely on your iPhone:

Location data. With your permission, iOS provides the App periodic significant-change location updates. These are used to attribute each day to a country. Location coordinates are processed and stored only on your device and are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
Photo library metadata. If you use "Restore from photos", the App reads only the creation date and location metadata of your photos to reconstruct past trips. Your images are never opened, analyzed, uploaded, or stored by the App.
Boarding-pass barcodes. If you use flight import, barcodes are detected and decoded on-device to extract flight information. Nothing is uploaded.
Your entries. Trips, stay limits, tags, zones, notes, and attachments you add are stored on your device.

3. iCloud sync (optional)

If you enable iCloud sync, your Trackora data is stored in your personal iCloud account and encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We have no access to your iCloud data. You can disable sync at any time; Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy apply to that storage.

4. Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. To manage subscription entitlements, the App uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous, randomly generated app-user identifier and Apple purchase receipt data. This identifier is not linked to your name, email, location, or travel history — the App never collects those. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

5. What we do not do

No accounts, sign-ups, or profiles.
No collection of your location or travel history on any server.
No advertising and no advertising SDKs.
No sale or sharing of personal data with data brokers.

6. Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives on your device, you are in control of it. Deleting the App deletes its local data. If iCloud sync was enabled, you can remove the App's data from iCloud in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage. Exports (PDF, Excel, CSV) you created remain wherever you saved or shared them.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since the App does not hold your personal data on our servers, most of these rights are exercised directly on your device. For anything relating to the anonymous subscription identifier, contact us and we will assist, including deletion requests to our subscription processor.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
