These terms are an agreement between you and maxxxapps ("we", "us") for the use of the NoteValue iOS application. By using the app you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
NoteValue identifies banknotes from photos and estimates their collector value using AI. Estimates are informational, not appraisals. Identification and valuations are produced by an AI model and can be wrong: a note may be misidentified, a variety missed, a value range off. Real-world prices depend on condition, variety, authenticity, and the market on the day — none of which can be fully judged from a photo.
Some features require NoteValue Premium, available as an auto-renewing subscription (weekly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase, billed through your Apple account.
Scanning runs through our servers and paid AI services. We may apply reasonable rate limits and use Apple's App Attest to block modified clients, scripted access, and other abuse. Don't attempt to reverse engineer the service, circumvent limits or gating, or use the app for anything unlawful.
Photos you scan remain yours. You grant us the limited right to process them (including via our AI provider) solely to deliver the identification and chat features. Your collection data is stored on your device (and your iCloud, if enabled), as described in the Privacy Policy.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on identifications or value estimates, from service interruptions, or from indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update the app, these terms, or discontinue features; material changes will be reflected on this page. You can stop using the app at any time; deleting it removes local data.
